As nudists, we all know how nude recreation enhances our lives. We recognize the almost indescribable feeling of the water and sun on bare skin. But perhaps we have never thought about how this feeling could translate to someone with a disability and their family.
A recent article in the Forest Grove News-Times recounts the story of a family with an autistic son that accidentally finds themselves at Rooster Rock nude beach in Oregon. What happens there is a heartfelt story of parenting and the obvious and perhaps not so obvious benefits of family nudism.
