Jack Nicholson's Nudist Past One of the film industry's most beloved and respected actors once enjoyed the nudist lifestyle so much he even did interviews in the buff, reports entertainment website Zee News Limited. A new biography reveals that Oscar-winner Jack Nicholson was "once so committed to nudity that he refused to wear clothes even while entertaining guests." The book, Five Easy Decades, reveals that Nicholson even gave interviews in the nude while promoting his 1971 film "Drive." Nicholson has been nominated for an Academy Award 12 times during his distinguished career and has won three. He has also won seven Golden Globe Awards and received the prestigious Kennedy Center Honor in 2001. Read more . . . Nudity Catching On in Japan Japan has never been known for its strong nudist movement, but things are beginning to change, particularly among the 20-40-year-old age group, reports the Mainichi Daily News. Many newcomers to nudism in Japan find going au naturel a respite from the business attire they are forced to wear during the workweek. "Getting nude is like taking off our suits of armor," says a 29-year-old woman interviewed for the article. Others practice nudism partly for its health benefits. One in eight men and one in 14 women responded to a poll saying they prefer to work in the buff.
