Prevention Magazine Touts "Nakedly Fun Summer Resolutions"
According to Dr. Edward M. Hallowell, MD, it's time to make some summer resolutions. His advice in the May '03 issue of Prevention includes enjoying being naked and to "skinny-dip at least once before the summer ends." Hallowell, an instructor in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, believes it's time to stop feeling guilty and start having fun. Forget those stuffy New Year's commitments to weight loss and the notion that you have to give something up to improve yourself. He advises us to "play" and be nice to ourselves. Sounds like just the kind of philosopy many nudists share!

Wall Street Journal Notes Nude Recreation....AGAIN!
For the second time this year The Wall Street Journal reported on the significance of nude recreation to the travel industry. On Friday, April 25th the "Takeoffs & Landings" section the publication references a travel survey conducted by Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell (AANR's recently retained PR firm).
In the survey 17% of the 2,500 respondents said they would consider attending resorts that provide a "nude recreation or clothing-optional beach experience." This is the first time nude recreation has been measured by the annual survey.
International Naturist Golf Tournament A Reality
The First International Naturist Golf Tournament will take place May 21 - 24 in Estepona, Costa del Sol, Spain. Costa Natura will be the location for the accommodation, while the actual play will be at Estepona golf course. F.E.N., (Spanish Naturist Federation) presented this idea during last year's INF World Congress which took place at Cypress Cove Nudist Resort and Spa in Florida. Costa Natura is expecting a good turnout for this unique event. Should you want more details visit these sites: www.infoestepona.com

Remember...AANR membership also gives you the added benefit of automatic membership in the International Naturist Federation (INF) - providing access to nudist/naturist clubs worldwide!
Abby Promotes Honesty
Dear Abby recently offered a bit of advice to a couple who visit nudist resorts. Apparently, the wife is reluctant to tell their adult children about their visits while the husband would like them to know where they are in case there is an emergency.
Abby's recommendation is to tell the children the truth. "There should be no embarrassment in disclosing your whereabouts," She goes on to say that "many people enjoy the nudist lifestyle, and there is no reason to be ashamed of it."
