Celebrate the joy of International Skinny-Dipping Day, which takes place each year on the second Saturday in July! The Wandering Bare Nudist Group warmly invites you to experience the exhilarating freedom of swimming au naturel. This delightful observance champions body positivity, self-acceptance, and a profound connection with the beauty of nature.

Embark on an exhilarating 5.5-mile out-and-back trail with a spur and a loop, an elevation gain of 935 feet, considered to be moderately challenging, nestled near Idanha, Oregon. This scenic route offers a perfect blend of challenge and beauty, typically taking around 3 hours to complete. Feel free to bring your furry friends along, as dogs are welcome and may roam off-leash in select areas.

Our adventure begins as we hike uphill, immersing ourselves in the captivating beauty of the Mount Jefferson Wilderness Area. The first lake we’ll encounter is Lake Ann, we’ll then follow Marion Creek, to be graced by the sights and sounds of Marion and Gatch Falls, spectacularly positioned just downstream from Marion Lake.

These twin falls are a true highlight, with the stunning Marion Falls gracefully cascading into Gatch Falls. Upon returning to the Marion Lake trail, a short loop will guide us to the outlet where Marion Creek flows from the lake, inviting us to explore its picturesque shoreline.

Once we reach Marion Lake, prepare to indulge in a carefree afternoon filled with skinny-dipping, relaxation, and the thrill of exploring the breathtaking wilderness beneath the majestic Mount Jefferson. Join us for an unforgettable experience!
