Thank you for your interest in the Sanibel Naturists, Southwest Florida’s largest nudist club. Our club was founded February 26, 1983 and we have been closely associated with The Naturist Society (TNS) since our inception. We are also a charter member of the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR), joining in August of 1987.

The Sanibel Naturist Club is a very active organization with frequent monthly get-togethers.

We are also considered a non-landed club meaning we do not have a clubhouse or overnight facilities. However, we are the only club in AANR that privately owns undeveloped nude beachfront property. Our beach is on a bridgeless, barrier island located on Florida’s Gulf Coast. The island is only accessible by boat and our beach does not offer any facilities.  We do not provide transportation.

As a group, we plan flotillas to the beach a few times each month. We also camp at the beach three or four times a year depending on the weather. Some of our other activities include monthly dinners out, house parties, theme parties, pool parties, going to baseball games and other recreational activities. We also organize road trips to visit other nudist resorts within the state as well as other nude or topless venues.

Membership in the Sanibel Naturists includes email notices. As a member of the Sanibel Naturists we also recommend that you join AANR and or TNS. We can handle this paper work for you. if you are not already a member.  We encourage you to attend one of our clothed activities to meet us and allow us to meet you. Membership in our club is required to attend the majority of our clothing optional activities after an initial guest invitation and visit.

Ninety eight percent of the information about our club is on this web site. Please feel free to contact us should you have any questions that are not answered in our Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.’s) page, or elsewhere on our website.
