Where Does A Nudist Put a Lapel Pin?” – Question Answered Below
Or find out firsthand at the Nat’l Conference of State Legislatures July 27-29 in Chicago
KISSIMMEE, Fla. (July 2026) — Members of the American Association for Nude Recreation (www.aanr.com) will be handing out thousands of commemorative lapel pins to lawmakers and their staff attending the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) at McCormick Place, in Chicago July 27-29. They’ll also answer the question, “Where does a nudist pin it?”
“On our lapels of course,” says AANR Executive Director and General Counsel Erich Schuttauf. “We want policymakers to know that we practice our pastime within appropriate settings. At formal meetings such as NCSL we will be fully clothed in business attire complete with lapels and pins, and literature explaining the benefits of social nudism and dispelling its misconceptions.”
Curious about life as a nudist? Want to learn about taking a summer Nakation® vacation? AANR members will share their insights. Notes Schuttauf, “When legislators stop by the AANR booth they learn how affiliated clubs contribute to local economies, promote tourism, and create jobs. They also learn of the interest among Millennials for skinny dipping that’s been enjoyed by independent-minded Americans such as Benjamin Franklin, John Quincy Adams and Henry David Thoreau along with current day celebrities, athletes and politicians”
And what about those lapel pins when nudists are enjoying their preferred “uniform” at a favorite club or nude beach? “We put them on our hats!”
For interviews and press materials prior to NCSL please contact Jeff Baldasarre as noted below. During NCSL to interview Erich Schuttauf you can reach him via cell: (407) 520-2010.
