Planting Seeds of Change: Voting and Growing Together

With the publication of this issue, we begin an important process for AANR members: the election of our Leadership.

This is your opportunity to make your voice heard. Within this issue, you will find biographies and statements from the members who are candidates for the following offices: President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, and the seven Trustees representing each of our Regions.

This year also includes voting on proposed Bylaw changes. Member participation in this process is vital, as it provides you with the opportunity to help update the governing documents that guide our organization.

The voting process is conducted through a secure third-party vendor to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the election. After ballots are processed and thoroughly verified, the results are conveyed to the AANR office in late June.

To ensure you are able to participate, please take a moment to log in to your profile at AANR.com and confirm that your email address is current and is the one you would like to use to receive your electronic ballot. If you previously shared an email address with a spouse or partner, please update your profile with a separate email address. The voting system recognizes identical email addresses as duplicates and will issue only one ballot. Taking a moment now to verify your information will help ensure that you receive a ballot. If you need assistance, please contact the AANR office at 1-800-TRY-NUDE, where our helpful and courteous staff will be happy to assist you.

In May, we also celebrate World Naked Gardening Day, which provides an opportunity to get outside and connect with nature in your natural state. Spending time in the garden can be both relaxing and rewarding, and afterward, a quick shower is all it takes to clean up, rather than using our precious resources to wash/dry clothes. With warmer weather and longer evenings ahead, it’s a wonderful way to enjoy being nude in nature.

We would love to hear how you celebrate World Naked Gardening Day, so please feel free to share your experiences with us.
