Memorial Day weekend not only signals the unofficial start to summer, but also the re-opening of nudist resorts across the northern regions of North America.
Across the country buds are blossoming, bees are buzzing and everyone is enjoying the natural outdoors. As seasonal nudist resorts re-open, they offer a way to get back to nature on many different levels. Care to try one out? And keep in mind, later this summer that AANR’s Nude Recreation Week is happening July 7th – 13th, 2025 with International National Skinny Dip Day celebrated at member clubs and resorts on July 12th. Nude Rec Week is the high point of the summer nudist season.
Most all AANR Nudist Resorts have a whole week of planned activities culminating with National SkinnyDip Day on Saturday, July 12, 2025. To launch their 2025 season, many AANR-affiliated clubs offer specials for first time visitors during the spring, which can be found on clubs’ websites. Here’s a small sampling of seasonal clubs reopening:
- Reopening May 16th is Lake O’ The Woods Club, Valparaiso, IN and events include a bonfire and dance part at the beach
- Having reopened on May 3 in Stockholm, NJ is the Rock Lodge Nudist Club http://www.rocklodge.com/ which is only about one hour by car from Manhattan
- In Central Michigan Forest Hills http://foresthillsclub.com/ has reopened offering tent and RV camping along with cabin rentals
- Just 20 minutes from Madison in Wisconsin, Valley View Recreation Club has reopened https://www.vvrc.org/
- In Moravia, NY on May 15th Empire Haven https://www.empirehaven.net/ will reopen
