Improve Sleep Au Natural — Seriously!
(Kissimmee, Florida - May 18, 2026)

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Mid-May 2026) — Artificial Intelligence (AI) tries to sell us on many things for better sleep. And as May is Better Sleep Month, you’re likely seeing lots of these: Anti-Snore Pillows, Adjustable Mattresses/Bed Frames, and of course Mattress Toppers and Sheet Sets. Oh, and let’s not forget over the counter and prescribed sleep meds.
We all know how important a good night sleep is. It’s inherent in us, especially if we wake up grumpy and unrefreshed after a poor night’s sleep.
So, regardless of what robotics are trying to sell you on, there’s one really natural and no-cost way to obtain a great night’s sleep: SLEEP NUDE.
If you discover that you’re too warm while under the covers, the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR.com) wants you to consider that your best sleepwear may be no sleepwear at all.
According to Medical Daily: “Optimal temperature for restorative sleep is between 60 and 68 degrees Fahrenheit. A study published in the journal Brain found when the sleeping environment has a temperature that fits this parameter, it helps the body’s core temperature to drop in preparation for sleep. If we’re too hot, this will prevent the body’s core temperature to reach the optimal parameters, which can lead to restlessness, and even insomnia. Sleeping naked will prevent the body from overheating, and will therefore lead to a better night’s sleep.”
Also, know that the term “beauty rest,” is not just a myth. Maintaining a room temperature that is no higher than 70 degrees while we sleep allows the anti-aging hormones to function properly. A sleep environment that is too hot will not allow the body to naturally cool itself and disrupts the release of these hormones. Sleeping in complete darkness stimulates the release of melatonin, which cools the body, and then the growth hormone is released. Hormones will work better at lower temperatures and will allow the body to regenerate resulting in better hair and skin.”
And as the Better Sleep Council has designated the month of May as “Better Sleep Month,” to encourage people to establish better sleeping patterns for a more refreshing and healthier sleep. Tips include:
- Establishing a consistent sleep schedule;
- Relaxing before bedtime;
- Creating an optimal sleeping environment based on room lighting and temperature too.
