Many runners experience a sense of freedom while traversing a quiet trail. The American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) takes freedom further by letting people run in just their shoes.
“The Nude Race Series (NRS) is a series of clothes-optional 5K cross-country runs hosted by AANR clubs throughout the Southwest Region and conducted on the club’s private property,” said Rick Wall, NRS coordinator for the AANR Southwest Region. “The runs are open to the public and while primarily family oriented recreational events, they are also competitive enough for serious runners to compete.”

CRITICAL UPDATE IN WISCONSIN – Volunteer and Professional Efforts Deeply Appreciated – Your Member Dues at Work!
As this issue of The Bulletin is being prepared, AANR and the AANR Midwest region are working diligently to respond to bills pending in Wisconsin.
Senate Bills. The first, SB 477, would punish parents who bring a minor child to “public events with groups of nude adults”. Nudity is defined to include intentionally exposed genitals, buttocks, or other intimate parts as well as restrictions on the photography of a child so exposed at an event. The second, SB 478, proposes to outlaw intentionally exposing genitals in a public area, regardless of whether that exposure is indecent.
Nudist resorts are recognized as places where guests shed their clothes, and also shed the false perceptions and artifice that clothes can create. Lesser known about nudist resorts is they are highly philanthropic. Though not capable of raising large sums for charitable causes, as do FORTUNE 500 firms, nudist resorts throughout the year organize many fundraising and advocacy events for their members and community at large.
In April, a naturist group in Pittsburgh hosted an event called “Balls Out Bowling” – and it turns out, naked bowling is not exclusive to western Pennsylvania.
The American Association for Nude Recreation, and other regional organizations, hold events year-round. These include bowling, skinny dipping, 5ks and even chili cook-offs.

We work closely with The American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) and The Naturist Society (TNS), as well as AANR-Southwest to assist in their efforts at the regional and national level to benefit the cause of social nudism.
We have a strong and dedicated Board of Directors who work hard to plan all the great events, publish a monthly newsletter and tend to all the administrative tasks of running a vibrant club.
WHO WE ARE:
The Rocky Mountain Naturist Club is an AANR non-landed Club open to everyone whether a member of AANR or not. Our mission is to promote clean and wholesome social nudism/naturism in the greater Denver area by providing a safe and secure environment for like-minded people to come together and share in family-oriented activities and gatherings.
Our gender-balanced membership consists of a diverse and non-judgemental group of naturists who believe that nudism/naturism is not about sex, but about body freedom and acceptance of the human form regardless of shape, size, skin color or sexual identification. We welcome and accept everyone in our club for the people they are, and you will always find a diverse mix of people of all types and backgrounds at our events.
Nudity is always optional at our gatherings. Most people exercise the option to be totally nude while others may be partially nude. We respect your right to choose the amount of clothing you need for your own level of comfort. There is never any pressure to be totally nude at our events.
